Hi there! My name is Angie and I am currently a Senior Designer at Free People. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I made my way to Philly after graduating college in 2013 to start my design career at Free People. Since then, I have come to love working with antique laces, embroideries, and print, manipulating and re-working vintage pieces to create modern designs with a bohemian flair. I love putting craft and novelty elements into my designs, and am a firm believer that attention to the tiniest of details can make all the difference. I’m usually playing around with different laces, prints, or embroidery scraps, letting my imagination run wild until I find just the right placement or element for my design. I am absolutely passionate about creating romantic, ethereal, and emotional pieces that have a hand-touched feel to them.

When I’m not designing, I can be found either reading, baking something decadent and unnecessary, or traveling and exploring somewhere new with my husband and our rambunctious Australian Shepard, Reggie.
